Firefighters had to cut through a roof at the Sports Therapy Bar and Grill in Canton Tuesday morning after an fire broke out at the business.

Battalion Chief Richard Sacco with the Canton Fire Department says fire crews were called to the business on Cleveland Avenue N.W. shortly before 8 a.m. this morning.

"We had to cut part of the roof. There was extensive smoke and water damage throughout the restaurant and bar," Sacco said.

Sacco says the fire caused around $100,000 in damage to the structure and an estimated $250,000 in damage to the contents in the building.

The Rotary Club of Canton is also located in the same building. Sacco says fire crews also found smoke damage in the rotary club.

No one was injured in the fire. The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
