Streetsboro Police are investigating a two car collision Friday night that also sent one car crashing into a house.

Shortly after 8 Friday night, the Streetsboro Police and Streetsboro Fire Departments responded to a two vehicle crash on State Rt 43 at Tinkers Green. A 2009 Ford F150 driven by Cynthia Hanish, 48, of Streetsboro and a Ford Windstar driven by Shawn Freyhauf, 31, of Mantua collided. After the crash, the pick-up truck went off the right side of the road and struck a home on South Sagramore Road causing structural damage to the house No one was in the home at the time of the crash.

Hanish was transported to Akron City Hospital by Lifeflight and her condition is unknown at this time. A passenger in the Ford Windstar was transported to Robinson Memorial Hospital by the Aurora Fire Department with non-life threatening injuries.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation by the Streetsboro Police Department however, it does appear that alcohol usage did play a factor in the crash.
