A 30-year-old mother was arrested after police say she left her 4-year-old child alone outside a Cuyahoga Falls home early Thursday morning.
Police found the girl wandering in the 2600 block of Elmwood Street around 4:30 a.m.
Authorities say the 4-year-old girl told officers that her mother had left.
Officers couldn't immediately contact the little girl's family members, so they took her to the police department.
A second child for the woman was found later that morning at another address. The children are now in temporary custody of the Summit County Child Services Board.
Police charged Colleen Testa, of Cuyahoga Falls, with endangering children, a first degree misdemeanor.
