A lot of Northeast Ohioans hoping to watch Sunday night's Pro Football Hall of Fame Game on TV won't be able to do so.
The NFL pre-season opening clash between the Arizona Cardinals and New Orleans Saints at Canton's Fawcett Stadium will air on the NFL Network.
That means cable TV customers even in Canton won't be able to see the contest, as Time Warner Cable and the NFL Network have had a long contract dispute. Time Warner Cable is Northeast Ohio's dominant cable provider.
Satellite TV viewers will be able to see the game, and some customers of other area cable operators will also see the game. A sell-out crowd of over 22,000 will be watching at Fawcett Stadium.
The Hall of Fame Game has aired on NBC in previous years, but that network is tied up with the 2012 London Olympics.
Last year's Hall of Fame Game was canceled due to the late end of the strike by NFL players.
