Medina Crash Kills Parma Girl

A crash on northbound Interstate 71 near the Route 83 exit in southern Medina County claiming the life of a two-year old Parma girl.  The State Highway Patrol says Megan Littlejohn died after being lifeflighted to University Hospitals pediatric center in Cleveland after the car her family was in was rear-ended while stopped in the right lane.

The girl's parents, Willie and Rebecca Littlejohn, were taken to Lodi Hospital with serious injuries. Megan and her brother, six-year old Alexander, were lifeflighted to Cleveland.

The other vehicle was being driven by William Diesch, 29, of West Salem. He and his wife Mary were taken to Lodi Hospital with serious injuries. Alcohol is not a factor but the crash remains under investigation.
