A Tallmadge police K-9 led officers to the discovery of a suspected meth lab nearby.
Police say canine officer "Axel" barked an alert on a car during a traffic stop Friday evening on Barnes Drive.
That prompted officers to search the home there, and Tallmadge police say a "shake and bake" lab was found in the garage - with 49 bottles, and a variety of chemical and other items linked to the manufacture of methamphetamine.
50 year-old Marcella Robinson of the Barnes Drive address was arrested, along with 45 year-old Michelle Cardarelli of Akron and 43 year-old William Lee of Uniontown.
All of those arrested face second degree felony charges of illegal manufacture of drugs, and third degree felony charges of illegal assembly of chemicals to make drugs.
The three arrested were taken to the Summit County Jail, and face court appearances Monday in Stow Municipal Court.
