It didn't take long for the manager of the Fairfield Inn in Green to notice something wrong with a corporate credit card statement - it contained $30,000 worth of questionable charges.
Those charges, according to Summit County sheriff's deputies, were all made within a month, including a stay at Castaway Bat Hotel at Cedar Point.
Deputies worked with the Cedar Point Police Department and later named two former Fairfield Inn employees as suspects. A warrant has been issued for Lotoria Johnson of Akron, but deputies are pinning most of the spending spree on Michael McKoy of Akron.
McKoy is not enjoying the comforts of the lakeside resort or even the hotel in Green. He's a guest at the Summit County Jail, pending answering to felony charges in court.
