Akron Murder Suspect Sought

Akron Police have another weekend homicide to solve.

Police have identified a suspect in the Sunday afternoon shooting death of 20-year old Demetrion Wilson. Wilson was shot in the chest following an argument and fight outside of his home on Day Street. He was taken to Akron City Hospital where he died a short time later.

Police have issued an aggravated murder warrant for 28-year old Terrance Minor Jr. of Clifford Avenue in Akron. Detectives say he should be considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact the Akron Police Department, Detective Bureau at (330) 375-2490; the U.S. Marshals Service at 1-866-4-WANTED; or the Summit County Crimestopper’s Inc at (330)-434-COPS. Callers can remain anonymous.
