Three Suspicious Fires Under Investigation In Canton

Canton had three suspicious fires on Sunday which occured within two hours of each other.

The Canton Repository reports that the fires occurred in the city's northeast section and are under investigation by the Fire Prevention Bureau.

The first incident was a vehicle fire around 3:30 a.m. in th 2300 block of Daleford Avenue which extended into a house.

The damages were estimated to be $6,000 to the Jeep and $1,000 to the house.

The next fire was at a vacant house in the 2600 block of Gilbert Avenue around 3:50 a.m. The damages were estimated at $1,000.

The third fire happened around 5 a.m. at the vacant First Apostolic Church of Christ in the 2100 block of Fletcher Avenue.

The damage there is estimated at around $90,000 in total.
