One Massillon man allegedly attempted to pay for his cab fare with something green....but it wasn't money.
According to the Beacon Journal Bath Township Police arrested 38-year old Jacob Bruckner on drug charges for trying to pay part of his cab fare with marijuana.
Bruckner had rang up a $24 cab fare on his way to the Holiday Inn on Medina Road, and once he arrived, police say Bruckner then went to his room under the assumption of paying the fare.
The cabbie said to police her returned with only $15, but offered to pay off the rest of the fare with a little bag of marijuana. The driver declined and then called police.
Police say Bruckner admitted to making the offer and said he only had $5, which he gave up to the cabbie.
