UPDATE Fire At Twinsburg Plant Injures One

Update 12:44 p.m. Wed.

A flash fire inside a recycling plant in Twinsburg critically injured a man Wednesday morning.

Twinsburg Fire officials tell News Channel 5 that Darrell Hornyak was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center by helicopter with severe burns after the fire at Revere Alloys, LLC. recycling plant. 

Hornyak was listed in critical condition at last check.

Two additional employees were taken to the Cleveland Clinic's Twinsburg Family Health & Surgery Center for medical attention.

Fire officials are investigating the incident.

A flash fire at a recycling plant in Twinsburg injured one person Wednesday morning.

It happened at Reserve Alloys around 5 a.m. Firefighters had the blaze under control around 7 a.m.

Fire officials tell News Channel 5 the victim suffered flash burns and was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center for treatment.
