An Akron man has been found guilty in connection with a shooting last October.

Summit County Prosecutors announced 24-year old Raymond D. Bushner was found guilty of felonious assault among other charges for shooting a 43-year old man in the chest following an argument Halloween weekend at his girlfriend's apartment on Eastgay Ave. The man survived the shooting.

Akron Police arrested Bushner in November of 2011 when they responded to a 911 call saying Bushner was assaulting his girlfriend.

During the trial, Bushner's girlfriend testified that he called her and intimidated her into changing her story in response to testimony provided by the State's witnesses.

He will be sentenced May 29.
