Small Plane Crash In Tuscarawas County

Authorities are investigating a small plane crash in Tuscarawas County this afternoon.

WKYC Channel 3 reports that the Ohio State Highway Patrol has confirmed the crash into a wooded area just south of Newcomerstown, at 12:23 p.m. Saturday afternoon.

The Highway Patrol and other law enforcement agencies are investigating, and WJW "Fox 8 News" reports that a number of neighboring fire rescue agencies are on scene as well.

It's not yet known what kind of small plane crashed, or who was on board.
