Akron Trio Arrested For Making Meth

Busting meth labs has become almost a daily occurence for Akron Police. The latest was in the 1200 block of Brandon Avenue.

Following up on a citizens complaint officers were given consent to search the house and garage by the home owner. Officers recovered a working meth lab in the garage including, chemicals, equipment and utensils needed to manufacture meth.  

Police  arrested Michael J. Prines, 42, Andrew Adorni, 26, and Melissa Adorni, 27, all of Brandon Avenue. The Adorni’s were charged with Attempted Drug Abuse and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Prines was charged with Illegal manufacturing of Methamphetamines, Illegal Assembly of Chemicals, Possession of Methamphetamines and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Prines is currently out on bond on four prior arrests for making meth. He was booked into the Summit County Jail. The Adorni’s were summoned to court.
