One Dead In 43/224 Crash

One dead after a two-car crash in Suffield Township this morning. The Ohio State Highway Patrol says a 57-year old Tallmadge woman was killed in the collision at Route 43 and 224 around six o'clock.

The State Patrol says Jennifer A. Jung-Kilbreath was not wearing a seat belt.

The Patrol says the other vehicle was driven by 15-year old James Kubitza of Mogadore, with three passengers aboard. All were wearing seat belts; two reported minor injuries.

(Ohio State Highway Patrol) Troopers from the Ravenna post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol are investigating a two-vehicle fatal motor vehicle crash. The crash occurred on US 224 at SR 43 on April 11, 2012 at 6:00 a.m.

James R. Kubitza, age 15, of Mogadore, Ohio was operating a 2005 Ford Taurus. Mr. Kubitza was not injured in the crash. Mr. Kubitza had 3 passengers in the vehicle, James E. Kubitza, age 43 who had no injuries, Rusty R. Shaffer age 12 and Sydney C. Kubitza age 11 both received minor injuries. Seatbelts were in use by all occupants of this vehicle.

Jennifer A. Jung-Klibreath age 57 of Tallmadge, Ohio was operating a 2009 Suzuki SX4 was fatally injured in the crash. Mrs. Jung-Klibreath was not wearing a seatbelt.

Mr. Kubitza was east on US 224 approaching SR 43. Mrs. Jung-Klibreath was south on SR43 approaching US224. The two vehicles struck each other as they entered the intersection. Mr. Kubitza's vehicle went off the south side of the road and Mrs. Jung-Klibreath's vehicle came to rest on US 224 after the collision.

This crash is still under investigation by the Ravenna Highway Patrol Post. Anyone witnessing the crash can contact the Ravenna Highway Patrol Post.
