Can where you live determine longevity? A new study released Tuesday ranks the health of residents in counties across the nation.

The study released by the University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute was based on a list of health, social and economic factors. Those factors included how many people smoke, the number of uninsured residents under 65 and crime rates.

Summit County ranks 40th on the list out of Ohio's 88 counties and Stark County is 41st this year.

Medina County is one of the Ohio's healthiest counties, ranking 3rd out of the state's 88 counties.

Wayne and Portage counties also fared well on the list ranking in the top 20.

For the third straight year, the healthiest county in state goes to Delaware in central Ohio.
