Woman Injured In Akron House Fire

Akron firefighters battled a house fire in the 600 block of Cuyahoga Street this morning. A woman was injured and taken to Akron City hospital. Her condition is unknown.

Smoke was seen coming from windows as firefighters arrived.

Food left unattended on a stove is blamed for starting the fire, which caused $13,000 in damage.
