Medina Police Chief Patrick Beraducci will serve a four week suspension for making a sexual gesture at a staff meeting in January.
In an interview with the Medina County Gazette, Beraducci apologized and said he "didn't intend for the gesture to be offensive."
The Ohio Patrolmen's Benevolent Association filed a complaint in February regarding the incident. According to the complaint, the gesture was made during a staff meeting where scheduling changes were discussed.
Beraducci is not permitted to return to work until April 9.
