Stark County will be represented by one of their own on American Idol.
Lake High School student Amelia Finefrock is a contestant on the show airing tonight for Hollywood week.
On AmericanIdol.com, Finefrock says the first time she began singing in front of an audience was in the 7th grade. She describes herself as a the "quiet" type and says most people are surprised when she showcases her voice.
The 17-year-old made it through the audition process in Pittsburgh and will now compete against over 300 contestants.
