Breast-feeding moms are now gaining some privacy as Kent State University offers "lactation rooms."

The new resource is part of the federal Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act Of 2010, requiring companies to offer private places for mothers to express breast milk.

There are three designated lactation rooms on the Kent Campus, with additional rooms planned for the Kent and Regional Campuses.

Each room will have a small refrigerator, table and chair.

More information can be found on the Kent State University website.
