Tallmadge Police Lieutenant Ronald Williams tells Akron NewsNow that Peyton's boyfriend 39-year old Daniel Tighe was arrested by Tallmadge and Akron Police and the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force at a home in the 1400 block of Breiding Road around 1pm Thursday.. Williams says Tighe has been charged with aggravated murder and murder in their deaths. He was arrested without incident. Tighe had been a person of interest, and then a suspect in the investigation for some time.
The badly decomposed bodies of the 31-year old Ralston and her son were found stuffed in duffel bags behind their home on Stone Creek Drive in early September. They had been reported missing by family members in early August and had not been seen since late July.

This afternoon at 1pm, Tallmadge detectives with the assistance of the Akron Bureau of the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force, arrested Daniel T. Tighe, 39 of Akron.
Tighe is charged with Aggravated Murder in the death of his five year old son Peyton Ralston, Murder in the death of his ex-girlfriend Wendy Ralston and felony Domestic Violence. Additional charges are expected thru the Summit County Grand Jury.
Tighe was taken into custody without incident at a residence in the 1400 block of Breiding Road in Akron. He had been living in a camper at that location since the bodies were found behind the home on Stone Creek on August 10.
After being booked at the Tallmadge Police Department, Tighe will be incarcerated in the Summit County Jail pending his initial appearance via CCTV at the Stow Municipal Court.
