Police Arrest Five In Alleged Meth Bust

Akron Police have arrested five individuals accused of running a meth lab on Akron's north side.

Officers were following up on a meth lab complaint at a home on Blaine Avenue late Saturday night.

When police knocked on the door, a strong smell of chemicals used to make meth came forth when the homeowner opened the door. They then gave officers consent to search the house and found the working meth lab in the basement.

Officers arrested.Todd Wolf, Matthew Karpinski, Joseph Kobilis, Emily Crow, Amber Stickler, and Mistique Brady on multiple charges related to manufacturing methamphetamines and were subsequently booked into the Summit County Jail.
