Akron police have recovered six stolen vehicles from a BMW dealership on West Exchange Street.
Lt. Rick Edwards says several suspects broke into Dave Walter BMW sometime between Wednesday night and early Thursday morning.
The suspects allegedly broke out a lower panel of the the garage door and then pried open the key drop-off box at the dealership. The suspects took several sets of car keys belonging to customers who had dropped their vehicles off for service.
All six vehicles that were taken from the dealership were located in various locations in the city. Police say several vehicles had minor to moderate damage.
A 17-year-old boy has been charged in connection with the theft. Detectives are following-up on several other suspects in the case and additional charges are expected.
