Police say a Euclid woman was stabbed multiple times by her husband who now faces charges.

Cuyahoga Falls Police Lieutenant Rich Knotek says neighbors heard a woman screaming at a home in the 3400 block of Squires Bend in Cuyahoga Falls.

"She started screaming for help, and luckily some the neighbors heard her and they called the police," Knotek said.

Police say the incident took place at about 11:50 p.m. Sunday.

The woman was staying at her parents house at the time of the attack. She suffered three stabbing wounds; one on the right side of face-- just below her ear, on her right thigh and one on the right-side of her torso, just below her rib cage.

She was taken to Akron City Hospital and Knotek said her injuries appear to be non-life threatening.

Eugene Roseling, 58, is charged with attempted murder, aggravated burglary, felonious assault, kidnapping and domestic violence.

His arraignment is schedule for Monday.
