The search continues for missing Akron teen Taylor Robinson.
A search Monday led private investigators, volunteers and a tracking dog through a wooded area behind Spring Hill Towers at 1221 Everton Drive.
The group met Monday morning at Sunrise Drive and Thorton Street.
"There was a call that came in over the tip line. We weren't successful at locating her, but thats a good thing" says Tom Fields, a private investigator for Accurate Investigative Services.
Fields tells AkronNewsNow they are receiving a steady stream of information in the effort to locate Taylor.
"We're getting a stream of information that we were hoping for and it seems as time goes by the information is getting to be more and more on point" he says.
Robinson was last seen on May 4th at an Akron home where she worked as a home health aide.
Fields concluded with "I just want to encourage the community to keep their eyes and ears open and if they hear of anything or see anything that might be of interest regarding Taylor, I'd have to tell you to contact Akron Investigative Services."
Cadaver dogs did find some clothing and a scent of a human body. It turns out it was a pair of grey shorts belonging to a homeless person, not connected to Robinson.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Akron Investigative Services.
