Fatal Crash In Portage County Under Investigation 7/30/2010 4:56:02 PM | Aaron Coleman, AkronNewsNow.com State Troopers are investigating a fatal crash in Shalersville Township, located in Portage County. advertisement The two-car crash occurred Friday morning on State Route 303, just a half-mile east of State Route 44 at 8;49am. Walter White was driving a Mack dump truck westbound when he drfited left of center and struck John McMillon who was traveling eastbound on Route 303. McMillion was transported to a nearby hospital where he is listed in stable condition. White died at the scene. White's passenger, Gerald Dowling of Garrettsville was flown by Life Flight to the MetroHealth Center, where he is listed in stable condition.
