AUDIO Lottery Scam Alert 3/10/2010 12:41:10 PM | Tina Kaufmann, AkronNewsNow.com If you get a call saying you won a Wal-Mart lottery, don't respond because it's a scam. advertisement The Summit County Prosecutor's Office says a woman in Macedonia got a call three times from an unknown person claiming she won $10.5 million in a Wal-Mart lottery. The caller asked her to go to Wal-Mart and buy a $900 Greendot Money Card and then call a phone number to get an address to send the card to. The caller then said they would mail the card back with the millions in winnings credited to it. Prosecutor Sherri Bevan Walsh advises not to respond to callers you don't know and report any suspicious activity to your local police department. Content © AkronNewsNow.com. All rights reserved.
