Construction Times Advance For Three Community Learning Centers

Three planned community leearning centers will move up the list of school rebuilding projects.

The Akron Board of Education Monday night approved moving up the timetable for the construction of new community learning centers at Hatton, King and Seiberling elementary schools. The three schools had been down the list of schools to be rebuilt, but were moved up the list as the board awaits more funding from the state to complete middle and high school projects currently under construction.
 
In other action the Board approved submission of plans for the design development phase of the Buchtel-Perkins Community Learning Center to the Ohio School Facilities Commission.
