NewsMasked Man Jumps Inside Woman's Car

A 51-year-old woman was sitting in her vehicle at a stop sign at 17th Street and Woodlawn Avenue NW on Thursday evening when she says a man wearing a ski mask got into her car and stole some cash.

According to the Repository, the victim told police it was shortly before 7 p.m. when the suspect got into her car in Perry Township, grabbed her by the hair and slammed her head on the steering wheel.
She said the suspect had threatened to shoot her if she didn't hand over money, but no weapon was ever reportedly seen.
The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of money.
Police say the woman refused treatment.
