However, they chose the SpermFinder to display the lastest in automated sperm search technology. Vic Meles of Nichevision says that this device is used by forensic scientists to find perpetrators of sexually violent crimes
"We sell this instrument to aid forensic scientists to help them with sperm detection."
Meles explains how his device is different from others used during investigations of sexual assault.
"When a rape kit comes into a crime lab, normally the scientists pour through the slides, and that can be an arduous task, but with the SpermFinder, it does it automatically."
The product will be featured in tonight's episode of CSI Las Vegas. Nichevision's Vic Meles says he hopes that this new device will help aid police in finding sexually violent preadators through DNA quicker than ever.
"The sooner these people are put in jail, the better, and this device ought to help them with that process."
