I wish I could say that I am surprised by this article, but it is the same thing everyday! Not sure what, but something needs to be done and done now to put a stop to this kind of action. Victims have less and less rights while the accused have more and more rights. It is time to turn the tables on these vermin that prey upon the innocent citizens of our city. Perhaps public executions is a good start.

The problem here is that the liberal media/government frowns upon vigilantism so much that people are afraid of being prosecuted/flayed alive in the media if they defend themselves. I had an incident over on South Arlington a year back, and was severely out numbered by the assailants. I had a golf club in my possesion and a rottweiler by my side. WHen the police showed up they detained me to run my ID and make sure I had no warrants, and then proceeded to tell the assailants to go on about their business and leave the immediate area. No ID check for them, no pat downs despite several having weapons, just go away and have a nice day. If the police are afraid of these guys, the media/government should lighten up and allow us to handle things in our own manner. Will some assailants get killed this way? Undoubtedly, but if that's what it takes to make a difference so be it. Take back your streets citizens. Don't put up with urban terrorism anymore. We have the right to carry now, and the castle doctrine is there to protect you. Make use of both and go in fear no more.
