Approximately 105 people were in Portage County Municipal Court on Sunday after getting arrested in Kent during Halloween festivities over the weekend.

According to the Record-Courier, two people were charged with assault while another was charged with criminal damaging.  Authorities say all other charges were related to alcohol, and those cases can be dismissed if the defendant goes through a diversion program.

Judge John Plough tells the newspaper that this year had the largest number of arrests from the annual Halloween festivities that he can remember.

It took just under three hours to process all of the cases.

Last year there were 81 cases processed from Halloween arrests.

What's truly scary is that Judge John Plough is still allowed to adjudicate any cases...anywhere!
