VIDEO Costume Shop Keeps Budgets In Mind 10/27/2009 12:58:23 PM | Lindsay McCoy, AkronNewsNow.com This Halloween some might be watching their wallets when shelling out cash for a cool costume. advertisement Mr. Fun's Costumes and Magic Emporium, off of State Road in Cuyahoga Falls is a locally owned costume shop. Meralie Pocock, owner of the store, said the store has prepared for customers who are on a tighter budget this season. "Whether you want to be Cleopatra or if you want be something scary or if you want to be something funny, so that no matter what you are, there is something in every price range," she explained. The shop has added more accessories and a budget line of costumes in the $30 price range. "I think it will still be a good Halloween season, I think people are going to be more conservative of course and we've planned accordingly," she said. Pocock explained it was tough getting in enough inventory this season as well, as many manufacturer's overseas in China have gone out of business. "There are a lot of factories that have closed and so the costume manufacturers are vying with other industries and other costume manufacturers for the same factories," she said.
