Reverend Denton has counseled numerous crime victims and their families.
Reverend Denton says the family of Richard Cooey is experiencing great sadness as well.
Reverend Denton says the general public, who have followed the case through the media, also has a wide range of emotions. Denton says the public's emotions range from those who oppose the death penalty to those who want revenge for the deaths of the two University of Akron co-eds more than 22 years ago.
