Scott Olson/Getty Images(NEW YORK) -- While Americans love their fast food, one of the giants of the industry has decided to introduce turkey burgers to its menu to give people a wider choice of healthier items.
Burger King says turkey burgers, generally thought of as better than beef because they're leaner and less fattening, will be rolled out in restaurants during the spring but only for a limited time.
The cost is $3.99 and if it turns out to be a hit, Burger King might make it a permanent offering.
Of course, if you're more inclined to traditional fast food, the King is also debuting a bacon-stuffed cheddar burger.
