Let's be honest. If you have kids, the chances of sneaking away for an amazing romantic Valentine's Day date are slim. But that doesn't mean you need to skip out on the holiday altogether. There are plenty of ways your whole family can celebrate love without leaving home. From a special breakfast to a 3-course meal, you can still enjoy the holiday this Thursday. Click through for 7 Valentine's dates to enjoy at home with the whole family.

Make Something Together
A Valentine's craft project can be a fun way to celebrate with your family. How cute is this 'heart-felt' tree? Inside each heart is a little love note for each member of the family!

A Special Breakfast
Why not start the day off right by celebrating love? Enjoy a home-cooked breakfast like heart-shaped pancakes or poached eggs on toast. Throw some strawberries and chocolate chips into your oatmeal for a special Valentine's Day treat.

Movie Night
At the end of a long day, a movie is a great way to relax. If the entire family is watching, enjoy a kid-friendly love story like Lady & the Tramp or Aladdin. If it's just you and your honey, find a classic love story like Gone with the Wind of Casablanca.

Reminisce About Your Past
Look through some of your old photos and reminisce the times you've had together. From dating and marriage to vacations and new babies, it'll be fun to see how far you've come. The kiddos will enjoy it, too!

Love Letters
My friend Maggie and her husband exchange love letters every year. I can't think of a more romantic way to tell your spouse how you feel about them, year after year. And don't leave the kids out! Write your little ones a love letter they can cherish for years to come.

A Dance Party
Turn on some oldies and get your groove on. Little ones will love to dance. When they're asleep, you and your lover can break out the Marvin Gaye and Boys to Men!

A Three Course Meal
Spend some time in the kitchen and whip up a romantic meal for the entire family to enjoy. Things like cheese fondue, a grilled steak, and creme brulee with chocolate covered strawberries are easy to do at home.

How do you celebrate Valentine's Day with your family?
