JOSH BROLIN AND DIANE LANE DIVORCING _ Another powerhouse celebrity couple bites the dust. Josh Brolin and Diane Lane decide to go their separate ways after eight years as husband and wife.

GAME OF THRONES SEASON 3 TRAILER MAKES WORLD PREMIERE ON JIMMY KIMMEL _The Season 3 trailer of HBO’s Game of Thrones makes its exclusive world premiere on Jimmy Kimmel Live (ABC) tonight. A big fan of the series, Kimmel kicks off the countdown to the new season premiere, which happens on Sunday, March 31.

... Kimmel joked, "I am so excited about this trailer, even I might watch my show." The trailer will be posted to the Game of Thrones YouTube channel immediately following its east coast debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

soledad-obrien-gi.jpgSOLEDAD O'BRIEN TO LEAVE MORNING SHOW _ Soledad O'Brien is partnering with CNN to produce a series of long-form programming specials. The Starting Point anchor is giving up her morning slot to form a company called Starfish Media Group, which will produce three documentaries for CNN in 2014.

LINDSAY LOHAN LOSES LEGAL BATTLE WITH PITBULL _ Pitbull has won his legal war with Lindsay Lohan. She sued the rapper in 2011 for using her name in his hit song Give Me Everything when he dropped the line, "I got it locked up like Lindsay Lohan." Lohan claimed Pitbull never got permission to use her name and therefore he had no right to profit off of it. But Thursday a New York federal judge sided with Pitbull, ruling that Lindsay is dead wrong on the law -- because the song is a work of art protected by the First Amendment -- plus Lindsay's barely even mentioned in it. The judge also ruled that Lindsay's allegations that she suffered emotional distress are off base. The case has been dismissed.

LINDSAY LOHAN RIPS $1,750 AMFAR GALA GOWN _ You may recall Lindsay Lohan's sparkling Theia gown from the recent amfAR gala in New York, a nude and silver bugle-beaded fringe gown from the spring 2011 collection valued at $1,750 that turned heads all night long at the charity event. To date, the dress still hasn't been returned to the label, and it appears as though Lindsay took a pair of scissors to the delicate fabrication and created a messy haphazard minidress of her own. Her stylist says the "dress ripped when ... and then she decided to cut it into a mullet minidress." The designer no longer wants the dress back.

MICHAEL IMPERIOLI ON THE OFFICE _ Now that The Office’s Jim is dividing his time between two desks, obviously Dwight needs a new nemesis, right? That role is going to be played by none other than Sopranos alum Michael Imperioli.

Justin-Timberlake_510x317.jpg JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE WILL RETURN TO SNL _ Justin Timberlake continues his invasion ahead of the release of his comeback album The 20/20 Experience. He's scheduled to pull a double duty as a host and musical guest on Saturday Night Live on March 9, ten days before his album hits the market.  The stint will mark JT's fifth time on "SNL".

MEL B WILL BE NEW AMERICA'S GOT TALENT JUDGE _ NBC says former Spice Girl Melanie Brown is joining the judges' panel of America's Got Talent. Brown, also known as Scary Spice during her time with the 1990s pop group, will take her seat alongside Howie Mandel and Howard Stern when the variety competition show returns for its eighth season this summer on NBC. Brown was previously a contestant on ABC's Dancing with the Stars. In 2010, she starred with her family in a reality series for The Style Network.

THE AMERICANS RENEWED BY FX FOR SECOND SEASON _ The Americans has been renewed by FX. The renewal comes just four episodes into the first season of the series, which premiered in January with 5.11 million total viewers to become the most-watched debut of any FX series. The Americans stars Keri Russell and Matthew Rhys as two KGB spies posing as a married American couple in suburban Washington D.C.

NIELSEN TO ADD IPADS, XBOX, STREAMING TO TV RATINGS _ With fewer people watching TV in the traditional manner and more turning to broadband, iPads, and even the Xbox or PlayStation, TV ratings company Nielsen plans to expand how it measures program ratings. By September, Nielsen expects to have new hardware and software in its 23,000 sample homes to better chart what people watch, including those who stream shows on various devices from Netflix, Amazon, and others.

... A second phase will monitor viewing on iPads and tablets, and that should be in place by the end of the year.
