It's the Wagon Wheel game Saturday afternoon at InfoCision Stadium. Akron and Kent State battle in an important MAC game for the Golden Flashes.

The teams have played for the Wagon Wheel since 1946. It's the 39th meeting between the Zips and the Golden Flashes for the Wagon Wheel. Kent State leads the series 19-18 with one game ending in a tie.
Overall this season, Kent State has a record of 5-4, while the Zips are at 1-7.
Golden Flashes head coach Doug Martin is trying to keep his team focused on their preparation for the game.
One game MAC Championship contestDuring the Mid-American Conference season, Martin says the team has been playing as if the upcoming game was a one-game MAC Championship game.
For the Zips, head coach JD Brookhart says this game is one the team points to every year. Brookhart says a victory in the Wagon Wheel game would jump start the team.
The Zips have won the last two Wagon Wheel games, including last year's 30-27 double overtime win over Kent State at Dix Stadium.
