Medina K-Mart On Closure List

Two Northeast Ohio K-Mart stores are on the official Sears/K-Mart closure list.

The K-Mart on North Court Street in Medina, and a K-Mart in Bainbridge, are among the 100-plus stores the retailing giant will shut down.

So far, the company has only announced 79 of the closing stores. Tuesday, Sears Holdings, parent company of Sears and K-Mart, said it would close 100 to 120 stores nationwide.

An earlier closure list resulted in the shuttering of the Sears Hardware store off Canton Road in Ellet - that store closed earlier this month. A Sears Hardware store on Graham Road in Stow closed a year ago.
