Namath, Suarez Unveil New Products

A new business deal involving a Pro Football Hall of Famer will be bringing more jobs to North Canton.

Former New York Jet quarterback Joe Namath along with Suarez Manufacturing Industries helped unveil the new Joe Namath Portable Stove at the former Hoover plant Tuesday morning.

The Canton Repository reports the versatile stove can be used not only in the kitchen, but also on the patio, on the campground, or tailgating before a big game.

Suarez' President and CEO Ben Suarez announced the company will also be working on theEdenPURE Perfect Storm sweeper at their Orchard Street NE facility.

Suarez told the newspaper he expects the new items will add at least 100 jobs per product.

The new products are expected to hit the stores in the next two to three months.

"Broadway Joe" recently inked a five-year contract to endorse Suarez products.
