Police are looking for two suspects who allegedly broke into an Akron gas station early Wednesday morning.
Officers responded to an alarm at the Shell gas station in the 1100 block of East Tallmadge Avenue around 3 a.m.
When police arrived, they found a brick that was used to smash through the front window of the store.
Authorities did not find any items missing from the gas station.
Officers have warrants out for the arrest of Corey Hoffman,18, of Tallmadge and Ryan Ogden, 21, of Akron.
Hoffman is a white male, 5’08” and 180 lbs. He was wearing a dark colored jacket with horizontal reflective stripes, a grey sweatshirt, blue jeans and white shoes.
Ogden is a white male, 6’07” and 225 lbs. He was wearing a dark jacket, a light blue sweatshirt, blue jeans and white shoes. He is also wanted for obstructing official business and disorderly conduct.
An Akron man led police on a chase following a two-vehicle crash.
Akron Police report Daniel T. Seese, 31, was intoxicated while behind the wheel when he allegedly caused the crash at East Tallmadge Avenue and Home Avenue at 4:30 p.m. Sunday.
Two people were injured and taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Akron Police Lt. Edwards says the injuries the two suffered were non-life threatening.
Police say Seese tried to make a quick get-away as officers chased him until he was stopped at 56 Colonial Hills Drive.
He was arrested on charges of aggravated vehicular assault, failure to comply and operating a vehicle under the influence.
