A garden filled with fresh vegetables and herbs is the one of the first stops for Ms. Julie Costell. As a heart attack survivor, Ms. Julie understands the importance of eating natural and organic food. But it's not just about creating delicious vegan dishes -- it's about making a difference in the community.
Ms. Julie lost about 150 pounds after switching to a vegan diet following her heart attack. Her journey then led to the beginning of Ms. Julie's Kitchen on South Main Street in Akron.
She's proving that eating healthy doesn't have to be boring.
