I never thought I would like reality television. Then I saw Survivor: The Australian Outback and I was hooked. Since then I have seen countless reality shows and continue to sit in front of the screen waiting to see what move everyday people will make in extraordinary situations. My fandom of reality television brought me to many events, meeting past competitors. Soon after, I landed a job as a writer for RealityTVMagazine.com. I have represented them at several live Survivor finales since December of 2006.

VIDEO Survivor Returns For 19th Season
It's back! The best show on television makes a triumphant return with 20 new castaways competing for $1 million on Survivor: Samoa.
In its incredible 19th season, this year the producers are promising one of the nastiest villains of all time. In a show notorious for devious people, how can they top Johnny Fairplay, Jerri Manthey or "Coach" Wade? I think it might be tough, but Russell H. will bring moments like never before -- including dumping out fresh water from his tribes' canteens.
WATCH a portion of Russell's evil gameplay:
Also new this year is a twist where the tribes are forced to each pick a leader immediately who will then make several decisions for the entire group.
Outside of the evil Russell H., there are a variety of other noteworthy contestants including a police officer, rocket scientist and T-shirt entrepreneur.
WATCH an introduction of the entire cast:
And later on this season, Jeff Probst tells Entertainment Weekly that he throws one contestant out of a challenge for the first time in the show's history.
It's hard to believe we are already back for another season of the reality giant, and I can't wait.
Tune in for all the drama once it starts this Thursday at 8 p.m. on CBS.
