  California Got It Wrong
There are few subjects that hit a hotter button than marriage, especially so-called gay marriage. I have listened to the debate with great interest.

  Mulligan
Had a conversation with a friend just before we both traveled to Chicago on separate missions. We have important family there and as dads we are careful and try to remain aware of the city.

  A Long, Small Life
It all started on Mother's Day. Monika was concerned with her mom's weight loss. The evidence came in loose dentures. Before I go too far into the gross zone, let's move back to the time when my mother-in-law found a dentist she liked.

  Star Watch
You know Facebook? If you do you know that the main use is a digital party line for no particular reason. Aside from all the little dribs and drabs of life that are chronicled there, you might get these cool little survey type visual aids.

Elliot's father was always cordial and even joked with me now and them. Jay's father was a completely different story.
